Greetings! I’m the owner and operator of Fourth Wall Editing. Whoa, got ahead of myself there. My name’s Erin M. Schadt, and I’m an experienced copy editor, proof reader, and project manager. Currently, in addition to running Fourth Wall Editing, I’m the managing editor of an international engineering society’s magazine.

While I enjoy working on magazines, I have an absolute passion for comics, sequential art, comix, graphic storytelling, whatever the kids are calling the medium these days. In fact, before starting Fourth Wall Editing, I ran the comics review blog The Comic Queen for two years. Now I'm combining my love and knowledge of comics with my expertise as an editor.

My goal with Fourth Wall Editing is to use my skills as an editor to improve your work as a creator. Whether that’s simply with a final proof to eliminate lettering mistakes or it’s guiding a multi-creator project from a plot to a finished comic, I’m here solely to help you improve your comic.
